Affordable Housing: Where should houses be built, surely not where there is no work?
A letter has been written to the prime minister David Cameron querying the apparent targets for building houses throughout the country. There aren't any now, but please refer to the actual letter: Affordable Housing should houses be built where there is no work?
The most important statement in the reply from the PM's office is this:
In contrast to the previous administration that imposed undemocratic and arbitrary targets, the Government has made clear that local councils, in conjunction with local communities, should plan to meet their objectively assessed needs, not more.
