Healthy Diet  Excel Weekly Tool Introduction

Author Geoff Edwards. Its all my own work taking over ten years. This Microsoft Excel based tool is based on verifiable data from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) . I was not employed to develop the tool. It just developed and I thought that if it was useful to me it could be useful to others.

Accompanying this introduction is a download to a PDF file that reports on the project: Healthy Diet  the rest of the website category "Healthy Diet" is provided as a report mainly on the development of the project and other topics. Reference:  The most definitive document on the topic of human nutrition is published by the Food and Agricultural Organisation of the United Nations in conjunction with the WHO (World Health Organisation  Human Vitamin and Mineral Requirements

U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service. FoodData Central, 2019.

I understand that there are many users of the Internet who have had little or no experience of using a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. If you need help getting started I can offer a months assistance. This would include setting up the spreadsheet for a one off payments of 10 GBP. This charge would cover setting up the Healthy diet spreadsheet and a months assistance with using the spreadsheet.  I have also set up a Facebook page which provides opportunities for users to ask questions: Healthy Diet Calculator  I can be contacted via the Facebook page.

Healthy diet updates are listed below.

Excel Weekly Diet Tool Update 2019v27

I have updated the workbook Chili Con Carne has been added to the spreadsheets. I have added a product that I buy in a can and like. I have also introduced a setting for calculating the carbohydrate requirement. The default setting is to 50%. Published carbohydrate requirement is listed as 45% to 65%.  The calculation is managed by the spreadsheet.  The setting is to Ref 11.  I also noted that some of the accompanying spreadsheets had the wrong heading above the columns. These entries have been corrected, it make no difference to the working of the tool but could be confusing.  Link; Excel Healthy Diet Tool

NB I found an error in the Ref Totals which required amending the Conditional Formatting of those cells.I have also added data from the USDA Food List for Salad French Dressing. I just re-uploaded the file as the amendments did not constitute uploading a new version of the workbook
